This holiday dish can be made into other holiday shapes, too! To start, prepare a large plate that’s rectangular shape. Lay out greens in a tree shape, add the pomegranate and feta (they work as great tree salad decor), and drizzle avocado dressing on top. It’s a lovely way to enjoy a holiday salad! You can also purchase a tree-shaped platter.

I have been busy with my last assignments for school, and while I always think about posting a recipe, I just can’t find the time. My husband and I will be celebrating our ten year anniversary next week (wow, ten years!), so I am trying to get things done. So I had this next recipe for far too long, it’s just time to finally share it. It is such a yummy salad, yet simple to make and always turns out fancy.
When it’s time to decorate for the holidays, I always put up a real tree. You can read here as to why! I don’t know about you, but I always put up a wreath on our front door. I love this time of year when the holiday season is upon us and I can make this festive salad. It works as a great side dish to a Christmas feast. If you have family over and every large salad bowl is occupied, don’t worry: this beautiful Christmas salad can be served on a large serving platter. It’s a seasonal salad that looks festive on the table!
The day after Christmas is when I start decorating and the wreath is on of the first to go up. Wreaths can go beyond the door, though. Wreaths, like this salad wreath, also belong on the table! When exploring and creating this salad, I decided to start off the dressing and base it off of avocado oil. What benefits does avocado oil have? Because this oil is made from avocados, it is full of healthy fats that boost our health.
Did you know that in France avocado oil has the status of a prescription drug? That is because consuming it often can reverse arthritis. It also has the healing effects of treating psoriasis which is a condition where skin cells build up and form rashy, scaly dry patches.

Easy Christmas Wreath with Avocado Dressing

Ingredients
- 1½ cup arugula
- ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
- ¼ cup feta cheese
Avocado Dressing
- ¼ cup avocado oil
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ avocado, pitted & peeled
- ½ lemon, juice only
- 3 Tbsp orange juice
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
