The only ingredients you’ll need for this delicious apricot jam are apricots, sugar, and water. Whip a large batch of this jam to enjoy for days – or months if you store it in your freezer.

Apricot jam is hands down one of my favorite jams of all time. It is light, sweet, and irresistibly delicious.

The versatility of apricot jam

Need a buddy for your morning breads? Apricot jam is the perfect spread on toast or bagels. If you’re making stuffed french toast, try an apricot jam filling. Mmm.

Flavored yogurt. If you ever get bored from plain yogurt and don’t want the fruity ones from the store (because let’s face it, they aren’t necessarily healthy), then adding jam is a great solution. Especially this apricot jam.

Overnight oats. They’re all the rage, aren’t they? Try making some apricot flavored overnight oats. Just add a generous spoonful of this apricot jam on top of your tried and tested oat recipes.

Want to add flavor to your sauces? Add apricot jam. If you’re making a glaze to put on top of the steak, chicken, or other meat, adding this jam into the pan will really increase the flavor profile.

How to make Simple and Easy Homemade Apricot Jam

Steps

Wash apricots, cut into pieces.

First, make the syrup: On medium heat, add 1 pound of sugar and 2 cups of water into a large pot.

Stir occasionally till the syrup becomes clear.

Add the syrup to the apricots.

Put on heat and bring to a boil. Take foam out. Turn the heat off and let the apricots cool down for about 10 hours or overnight.

Reheat the apricot jam again to boil. Into well-washed with hot water jars add the apricot jam.
