Simple and Easy Homemade Apricot Jam with 3 Ingredients

No pectin in this jam! Homemade is the best kind of jam. It's so versatile and simple to make.

  • 2 lb fresh apricots, cut, pits removed
  • 1 lb sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • jars with lids, washed in hot water

Instructions

  • Wash apricots and cut into pieces.

  • Over medium heat, add sugar and water into a large pot.

  • Stir occasionally until the syrup becomes clear.
  • Add the syrup to the apricots.

  • Turn up the heat to high and bring to a boil. Take the foam off the top of the cooking jam. Turn the heat off and let the apricots cool down for about 10 hours or overnight.

  • Reheat the apricot jam again to boil. Into well-washed with hot water jars add the apricot jam. Enjoy!
