Everyone should enjoy a super green juice once in a while. This one is packed with loads of nutrition from kale, lemon, parsley, cucumber, celery, and green apple. Make sure to drink your juice as soon as possible after it’s made to get the most of its nutritious benefits.

How to make a healthy Super Green juice detox smoothie

The great thing about juicing is that you get a load of nutritional benefits, low calories, and very little dishes to wash.
I haven’t found the perfect juicer yet, but have been looking at slow juicers since I have heard they are best at getting every little bit of nutrition out of ingredients and are pretty quiet!

Most juicers are very powerful, and some can juice a whole apple. But to make it easier for the juicer or prolong it’s life in your kitchen, you should loosely chop the fruits and vegetables.

Combine loosely chopped kale, celery spears, a peeled lemon, and cucumber. The parsley doesn’t need to be chopped.
Run ingredients through a juicer.
Taste the juice and adjust the sweetness or add more lemon if desired.

Ingredients

  • 5 leaves green kale
  • 1 small bunch parsley
  • 2 apples, cut into sections, you can add an extra apple if you like your juice sweeter
  • 4-6 ribs celery, cut into 4-inch spears
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 2 large cucumbers, cut into spears

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients for juicing. Loosely chop kale, cut up apples, cut celery spears, peel lemon, and cut cucumber into spears. Parsley can be juiced as-is.

Notes

If you do not have a juicer, you can use a blender and blend ingredients with a small amount of water then strain it through a nut milk bag.
