Baked Stuffed Mushrooms make an easy and delicious snack for any holiday party or a side dish to any steak. Baked Stuffed mushrooms make an easy and delicious side dish. They’re naturally low in calories and a great source of vitamin D, making them the perfect appetizer. These little ‘shrooms are stuffed with onion, garlic, sour cream, and mushroom stems. They’re an easy and simple healthy appetizer!

Have you ever been mushroom picking? It’s a very fun fall experience. Pile into the car and head to the forest (with someone who’s experienced, of course)! The woods and fresh air, combined with freshly fallen rain make it feel like you’re in the mountains, far, far away from civilization. It’s a dreamy vibe if you like forests. If not, you can head to the produce aisle at your local produce store and experience a comfortable & convenient mushroom picking experience.

What to Do With Mushroom Caps?

Mushroom caps make the easiest, healthiest base to stuff any ingredients into. Parmesan cheese, green onions, a sausage mixture, probably a bit of crab meat, a spinach mixture, maybe even a sort of cream cheese filling, a sprinkle of salt and black pepper, and there you’ve got yourself so many different options for easy stuffed mushrooms. You can use smaller mushrooms to make an appetizer or if you’d like to enjoy them as a main meal, you can use one of the larger kind of mushrooms.

Can I Make Mushroom Appetizers Ahead of Time?

This savory appetizer is roasted in a 350-degree oven to absolute perfection. I wouldn’t recommend making them ahead of time, but you can pop them into the oven last minute since they only take 20 minutes to bake. If you like to use your air fryer, they can cook there, too! This easy recipe makes the best-stuffed mushrooms.

Lil ‘shrooms are so cute and easy to make dishes with. Their round caps provide the perfect base to any topping options. For this recipe, I crafted them into little appetizers that were very loved by guests. The garlic flavors and creamy consistency will

make them fly off of your tables, too.

Your next party or gathering can have a new recipe on the block with this great appetizer that’s sure to be a huge hit. Game night or not, they’ll always be enjoyed by everyone.

What Do You Need to Make a Creamy Stuffed Mushroom Appetizer?

Well, mushrooms of course! You can use any sort of mushrooms that you like. I use white mushrooms or cremini mushrooms. Use a damp paper towel to gently clean each mushroom with care. Some people like to discard stems from mushrooms, but I like to use them in this recipe.

Onion: Yellow onion.

Olive oil: Or any oil you usually use.

Cheese: Mozzarella or cheddar cheese work best, or a mix of both.

Sour Cream: To make it creamy.

Garlic: Brings out more flavor and has numerous health benefits.

And just a pinch of salt to season.
