My favorite dip for any kinds of chips is a salsa dip. This time around, my quinoa chips needed a homemade salsa to dip into and that was when this Easy Avocado Salsa Dip was created!
Any tortilla chip dip is a great idea for an appetizer or a snack. Specifically this restaurant-style salsa is one of my favorite recipes that I’ve wanted to share with you this season. A fresh salsa goes a long way. When you have healthy ingredients, a knife, cutting board, and a large bowl, you’ve got a great start to one of the best healthy recipes (with the best flavor) out there.
The spicy jalapeños so perfectly complement the creamy avocado!
This salsa will take you just a couple minutes to whip up. It’s low-calorie and made with vegetables and fruit. This perfect summer appetizer supplies your body with vitamin E (from the tomatoes), dietary fiber (jalapeno nutrient), vitamin C (packed in avocado), and manganese (in the garlic). As you see, its packed with so many nutrients!
Salsa not only makes a great treat to any party, but also a healthy snack. Bring out that bag of chips and dig in! While I am not too big of a football fan, but with all the craziness about the Super Bowl, I might just watch the game this Sunday. Do you watch the Super Bowl? If so, what are you serving?
Here’s what you’ll need to make this chunky dip:
Tomato puree is a strong base for this easy recipe.
Juicy tomatoes contain lycopene.
Zesty lime juice adds tons of fresh flavor to this salsa mix.
Fresh garlic cloves help your body to fight inflammation.
Fresh cilantro can help to protect your body from infections and illnesses. This fresh herb also adds a citrusy taste.
Jalapeno is rich in vitamins A and C.
Red onion is rich in quercetin. It also adds a nice crunch and adds to the chunky texture.
Ripe avocados add a nice and mild flavor to the mixing bowl.
Sea salt can be added to taste.
