How to make an Apple Pie Smoothie

This smoothie is a tasty apple pie a cup. Complete with oats, cinnamon, oats and a fresh apple.


This apple pie smoothie may just be your way of getting that apple a day into your meal. It’s perfect for breakfast or snack shake.

It’s sweet, but not too sweet. It’s creamy, thick, spiced, and full of fiber and protein that will help you keep going throughout your day.

With all of the flavors of a sweet dessert but without all of the added sugar, this apple pie smoothie is the perfect summer dessert to enjoy without having to bake.

Ingredients you will need for an Apple Pie Smoothie: 

All the apple pie flavors without the extra sugars! No need to wait for it to bake, just toss all the ingredients together and blend.

You will need:

Fruit: one sweet apple plus a banana

“crust”:  rolled oats

Sweetness: maple syrup

Dairy: use milk and yogurt of your choice (dairy or not)

Spices: cinnamon and ginger 

Ice and a pinch of salt.

  • 1 medium sweet apple
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk, of choice
  • ¼ cup yogurt, of choice
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ½-1 large banana, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • tsp ground ginger
  • 1-2 cups ice, depending on how cold and icy you want it
  • 1 pinch salt


  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
