I’ve got grapefruit, oranges, and lemons on my mind. Oh my!

Who doesn’t love smoothies, they’re an incredibly easy way to incorporate nutrients into your diet. Smoothies also make the perfect breakfast meal when you’re on the go or a wonderful middle-of-the day pick-me-up, and this energy smoothie is what you should be making next.

I have been loving this smoothie so much that I’ve whipped it up several times this week. It is an instant refresher and leaves me with so much energy that I could take on any task. Watch out world.

There’s really nothing to this smoothie, honestly. It tastes so good you’d think it took all morning to come together. Nope. This literally comes together in seconds. Yup. You read that right. Seconds.

Three ingredients. Two simple steps. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy. Pun intended.

All you need is one peeled and sliced grapefruit, one peeled and sliced orange, and the juice of one lemon. That’s it.

  • 1 grapefruit, peeled & sliced
  • 1 lemon, peeled & sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled & sliced
  • ¼ cups water

Instructions

  • Peel one orange and one grapefruit. Slice into smaller pieces.
