This chunky salsa is the perfect last-minute appetizer for your next party!

My favorite dip for any kind of chips is a salsa dip. This time around, my quinoa chips needed a homemade salsa to dip into. That’s when I created this Easy Avocado Salsa Dip!

Any tortilla chip dip is a great idea for an appetizer or a snack. Specifically, this restaurant-style salsa is one of my favorite recipes that I’ve wanted to share with you this season.

A fresh salsa goes a long way. When you have healthy ingredients, a knife, cutting board, and a large bowl, you’ve got a great start to one of the best healthy recipes out there.

The spicy jalapeños so perfectly complement the creamy avocado!

This salsa will take you just a couple minutes to whip up. It’s low-calorie and made with vegetables and fruit. This perfect summer appetizer supplies your body with vitamin E (from the tomatoes), dietary fiber (jalapeno nutrient), vitamin C (packed in avocado), and manganese (in the garlic). As you see, it’s packed with so many nutrients!

Salsa not only makes a great treat to any party, but also a healthy snack. Bring out that bag of chips and dig in! While I am not a major football fan, with all the craziness about the big game, I might just watch the game this Sunday.

Do you watch football? If so, what are you serving for game day?

Expert Tips

  • Adjust the quantity of jalapeno based on personal spice preference; removing seeds reduces heat.
  • Refrigerate the salsa for 10 minutes before serving to enhance flavors and chill the ingredients. If you choose to do this, refrigerate the avocado before adding it to the salsa. Refrigerate the salsa without the avocado addition and add it in when ready to serve!
  • Use this avocado salsa as a topping on tacos, burritos, or egg scrambles!
