Watermelon Strawberry Cooler

When summer rolls around, we make sure we always have the two main summer ingredients at home: watermelon and tons of berries. And we have been enjoying these every day. But today, I decided to switch it up a little. Instead of eating a bowl full of juicy strawberries and freshly cut watermelon, I whipped up a deliciously refreshing cooler that we could enjoy outside. 

And let me tell you, it was absolutely devoured by everyone!

This Watermelon Strawberry Cooler Is:

Perfectly Refreshing. This is a wonderful way to cool down after a hot summer day. And if you choose to add in the handful of mint leaves, the refreshing factor goes way up.

So Healthy! Here’s what I love about this cooler the most. Not only is it so tasty, but it’s actually really good for you! The only added sugar comes from a tablespoon of honey. But if you’d like to omit it and have a cooler that has no added sugar, that’s fine too! It will still be delicious – just a little bit on the tart side! Plus, this watermelon strawberry cooler is hydrating and full of vitamins and minerals.

Easy To Make. The only bit of prep work you would need to do is cutting the watermelon. Then, all you have to do is add your ingredients to your blender, and enjoy.

If you’re looking for a yummy way to cool down and hydrate, I highly recommend making this Watermelon Strawberry Cooler.

Watermelon is rich in lycopene, which can help to lower the risk of cancer and diabetes.

Strawberries are heart-healthy and can help to lower your blood pressure with potassium.

Coconut water  is rich in electrolytes, providing necessary minerals. Also, they have potassium to help maintain muscle function.

Honey is rich in vitamin C and vitamin E, and holds many anti-inflammatory benefits.

Fresh mint supports brain health and the digestive system.

Along with those ingredients, you will need salt, lime zest, and ice.
