Orange zest: Any type of orange, don’t forget to wash it first.

Greek yogurt: I use Greek, but you can use your favorite.

Honey: It gives the salad sweetness.

Lemon juice: Squeeze juice from a fresh lemon, don’t use premade lemon juice.

How to make the Simple Strawberry and Kiwi Salad

Prepare the fruit pieces 

  • Peel and chop the fresh kiwi fruits then slice the fresh strawberries into bite-sized pieces and place in a large bowl or salad bowl. 

Make the salad dressing 

  • Whisk together the orange zest, Greek yogurt, honey, and lemon juice in a small container with a closed lid or in a mason jar and shake thoroughly.

Apply dressing to the salad

  • Drizzle the honey lime dressing over the kiwi strawberry salad, toss to combine, and serve immediately!

  • I recommend using fresh fruits for this salad. 
  • You can sprinkle shelled sunflower seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, or pecan nuts to add a new and unique flavor to the salad.

  • ½ lb strawberries, chopped
  • 2 kiwis, peeled & chopped
  • ¼ tsp orange zest
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt, plain
  • ½ Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  • Dressing: Whisk together orange zest, Greek yogurt, honey, and lemon. Combine with fruit and serve!
