How to make Georgian Satsivi Chicken

Step 1: Boil the chicken

Put chicken into a pot. Fill with water and add salt. Boil for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Cut and transfer chicken

Once finished, take the chicken out and cut into smaller pieces. Then, transfer to a pan with unsalted butter (save the water, you will need it later).

Step 3: Sauté

Frequently turn over the chicken and lightly brown it.

Step 4: Add spices

Add khmeli suneli, black pepper, red pepper, and curry powder to the chicken skillet.

Step 5: Add walnuts and garlic, then water

Add walnuts and garlic cloves. Then top off with the water from the boiled chicken, just enough to cover the chicken.

Step 6: Simmer, season, and serve

Simmer for 15 minutes or until it comes to a boil. Add more salt and pepper to taste. All done, serve warm!
