Best Tasting and Healthiest Beetroot Powder in 2024
One of my new year resolutions for 2024 is to work on my health. To start, I went on a journey to find the best tasting and healthiest beetroot powder. Loaded with health benefits, enjoying beetroot juice and powder are one of the best choices I can make for my health.
Beets have a load of folate, manganese, and copper. They keep cells healthy, contain anti-inflammatory properties, and help reduce the risk for numerous chronic diseases. They also have a sweet taste to them, which won’t make me force myself to drink, when added to water or a smoothie.
Let’s face it: no one is getting younger. What better way to keep the heart pumping than with a rich superfood? Beets keep your blood pressure in check by improving blood flow. Additionally, the benefits of beets support digestion and brain health.
In an optimal scenario, prioritizing the consumption of fresh vegetables is essential for maintaining good health and optimal functionality. However, our hectic lifestyles and constant movement can often pose challenges in meeting this ideal.
While it’s important not to consider beetroot powder, sourced from nutrient-rich superfoods, as a replacement, it does function as a beneficial supplement, aiding us in maintaining a healthier dietary routine. These powders play a crucial role in filling the nutritional voids, addressing the disparity between the recommended daily intake of essential nutrients and our actual consumption.

FAQs
To be clear, superfoods are not magical or meant to replace full fresh meals with whole foods. Superfoods are foods nutritionally dense, containing lots of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are good for one’s health. Mostly plant-based but also some fish and dairy.
“Superfoods aren’t a nutritionally recognized category of foods, so there are no specific criteria a food must meet to be considered one. But the title is typically reserved for natural foods that are especially nutrient-dense while generally being low in calories.” according to Clevelandclinic.org.
Well, beetroot powder — which are made of superfoods — are described by WebMD as a “Beet powder, also called beetroot powder, is a similarly bright pink or red product made from dried, ground beets. Beet powder is often advertised as a superfood and sold by natural food retailers.”
High blood pressure is a problem for many people. Luckily, beets and beetroot powder contain nitrates that can help.
“Nitrates are a naturally-occurring substance found in beets and many other vegetables. Dietary nitrate helps improve vascular function, or healthy blood flow.”
The preparation is fairly easy, but depending on the brand and size of the container the water and powder ratio vary. Instructions are written in the back of each container. Typically, it’s straightforward: mix one scoop of powder (included) with 8-10oz of water.

What could be better: Could take down the sweetness just a notch, overall I can’t find what can be better. Maybe the price, (Snap is offering a 10% off currently on Amazon!) Everyone I gave to try, liked it straight up. It’s even better with smoothies or over ice.

What I love: No powdery taste, and this beet powder dissolves so easily! As my #2 pick, I’d say this berry-flavored beetroot powder would pair well with real berry smoothies. A top supplement I’d recommend!
What I didn’t like:
- Has stevia (don’t like that).
- The powder had big chunks when I received it (but broke apart very easily).
- On the pricey side.

What I love: The humanN Super Beets powder tastes pretty good for #3, and the small container is easy to take on the go. This powder type has a black cherry flavor that cancels out the bitter beet taste.
What I didn’t like:
- This beetroot powder is on the more expensive side. Especially for the size of the container.
- Not enough vitamins included.
- Taste could be better (its almost tasteless, with a hint of stevia sweetener).
- Not organic.
- Has stevia, with an aftertaste.

What I love: There’s a lower price point with this product, which can make it an easier decision for buyers. It’s easy to use with different recipes rather than on it’s own. This is an organic beet powder, which is important for my family!
What I didn’t like:
- The powder is fine, but has a sandy texture.
- Could include more vitamins for extra health benefits.
- Taste (its gross, very bland). The jarred-beet flavor is very noticeable.
- Container isn’t attractive, and bulky.
Website description: “Beets boast vitamins, minerals and plant compounds with medicinal properties. Their proven benefits have elevated this humble root to superstardom.”
What I love: Not much, honestly. I rated this one at the bottom because there wasn’t much going for it. While the benefits of beets were there, there was no way to enjoy them through taste. This is one of the only organic beet products that Force Factor sells, so I’m rather cautious to love it entirely.
What I didn’t like:
- Bulky container.
- Powdery.
- Doesn’t taste like beets.
- Additional vitamins could be incorporated.
- Taste (very bland, and not good, couldn’t finish it).
- The scoop that comes with it could be longer to make a cleaner scoop.

Interesting to note, among us five, we all agreed on the winner, without a doubt.
