Pecan Tortes was always one of my favorite desserts growing up. There was something extra special about eating this textured cake after dinner. Every time, it hit the spot just right. I’m so happy I can share this recipe with all of you.

What I Love About This Recipe:

Minimal Ingredients. When you take a bite of this gourmet-quality cake, you’d probably think it took hours and several dozen ingredients to come together. Wrong!  You’re seriously 11 ingredients and less than two hours away from enjoying this Pecan Torte if you start now!

It’s light and airy. You might be thinking this cake would be very “bottom-heavy” because the pecans might sink to, well, the bottom. But because the pecans are very finely chopped and incorporated nicely into the batter, they are evenly dispersed throughout the cake. Naturally, this gives the cake its light and airy texture.

It makes a beautiful and unique dessert. This is a great way to wow your guests during the holidays. Or, you can serve it for brunch during an extra sweet occasion. It seriously looks so beautiful and tastes out of this world.

The chocolate glaze pairs so perfectly with it. I think the chocolate glaze adds a perfect finish to the pecan torte. It really adds richness and decadence.
