Layered and Colorful Jello Party Recipe
Jello is a simple but colorful dessert! It's perfect for serving at dinner and you kids will love it.

- 2 packages gelatin
- ½ cup cold water
- 2 cups milk, warm
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups sour cream
- ½ tsp dry vanilla
- 4 packages Jello, variety of colors & flavors
In a small bowl combine gelatin and cold water. Set aside.

Heat the milk and combine milk and gelatin together. Boil in the microwave for 2 minutes.

While milk and gelatin are boiling up, in a separate bowl combine together the sugar, sour cream, and dry vanilla.

Combine milk with sour cream mix. This is the whipped part of the layered jello. Keep it warm so it does not stiffen quickly.
Pour a thin layer into a baking dish or cups.
For the jello, follow the package instructions on each box. Mix each color as soon as you are ready to put it in your dish.

As soon as each color layer stiffens in the fridge, pour another layer and refrigerate. Continue until the dish fills up. And there you got a colorful and fun treat!
- Make sure each layer is cooled down and set, before pouring in a new layer.
