Pickled Red Onions

the perfect addition to any dish!

Side Dish

red onion, white wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, salt, garlic, fresh herbs & peppercorns

Peel and thinly slice the red onions and garlic cloves (preferably with a mandolin slicer), then cut into half-moons. 

Add white wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, and salt to a pot, then bring to a boil. Then, quickly reduce the heat to a simmer.

Add onions to the pot and simmer for one minute then turn off the heat and allow them to cool a bit so you can handle them.

Add onion and liquid to a clean, pint-sized jar and refrigerate for 1 hour.
