Easy Pan-Seared Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 Tbsp parmesan cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Chop the bacon into small bite size pieces.

  • Slice each Brussel sprout in half.

  • Heat a large skillet and sauté the chopped bacon on medium-high heat. As soon as the bacon starts turning brown, add in sliced Brussels sprouts and a pinch of salt.

  • Sear sprouts and bacon until the Brussels sprouts start to soften and they are a golden brown color.

  • Take sprouts and bacon to a serving plate and sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • Make sure to slice the Brussels sprouts so they cook through with the bacon. 
  • You can substitute parmesan cheese to a different kind of cheese.
