30 Minute Spiced Honey Roasted Pears

These quick and easy roasted pears - covered in a delicious spiced honey syrup - will only take you 30 minutes to whip up! Enjoy this decadent dish over ice cream, oatmeal, or all on its own with a cup of tea and a cozy film!

Ingredients

  • 3 pears
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • ½ cup earl gray tea
  • 2 Tbsp coconut sugar
  • ½ tsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp cashews and pecans mix

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Peel the pears. Cut in halves and core them.

  • Place the pears cut side down in a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, combine together tea, honey, coconut sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, and cinnamon.

  • Pour the syrup into the baking dish over pears.

  • Bake pears for about 25-30 minutes until soft. Take it out of the oven, flip the pears and return the baking dish back to the oven. Broil for 5-10 minutes until slightly caramelized. Drizzle with honey and chopped nuts.

Notes

Storage: Allow your baked pears to come to room temperature and then you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 days. I doubt they’ll last long enough to be stored away though - everyone’s going to gobble them up!
