White Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • cup water
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil or butter
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Rinse the rice in a strainer beneath running water.

  • Add rice and stir to coat it evenly with the oil.

  • Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
