- 1 kilo apples, about 6-7 medium-sized apples
- 1 cup sugar, less, if you're using sweeter apples
Grate apples on a thin grater.

In a medium saucepan add the grated apples. Keeping the heat on low, add 3/4 cups of sugar or 1 cup if using sour apples. You can add less at first, then add more sugar to your taste.
