A sweet strawberry and mango smoothie with a kick of ginger and a tang of lime.


Let’s make this smoothie! We will need:

Ginger can help reduce muscle soreness and can help to manage blood sugar levels. Lime can help to reduce kidney stone formation and are rich in vitamin C. Honey is rich in many antioxidants and vitamin E, as well as ascorbic acid which is an antioxidant. Chia seeds are filled with fiber, helping to lower high blood pressure. Along with those ingredients, you will need coconut milk, vanilla extract, coconut water, and salt.

- 1 can coconut milk
- 1½ tsp fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- zest of 1 lime
- 1½ cups frozen mango
- 1½ cup frozen strawberries
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup coconut water
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 pinch salt

- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
