Frozen fruits are perfect to use in this smoothie, if you have them available. If you want to feel like it’s summer in the winter, they’re a great option since fresh fruits aren’t available then. Coconut water and honey hydrate and add sweetness to this smoothie.

Ginger and lime are two superpower ingredients. Adding their individual bursts of flavor, they also are super beneficial. Ginger helps to lower blood sugar while limes give your body vitamin C to fight infection.

Let’s make this smoothie! We will need:

Mango is rich in vitamin K, supporting your bones and helping your blood to clot.

Strawberries have anti-inflammatory benefits and can help those with osteoarthritis and knee pain.

Ginger can help reduce muscle soreness and can help to manage blood sugar levels.

Lime can help to reduce kidney stone formation and are rich in vitamin C.

Honey is rich in many antioxidants and vitamin E, as well as ascorbic acid which is an antioxidant.

Chia seeds are filled with fiber, helping to lower high blood pressure.

Along with those ingredients, you will need coconut milk, vanilla extract, coconut water, and salt.

  • 1 can coconut milk
  • tsp fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • zest of 1 lime
  • cups frozen mango
  • cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 pinch salt


  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
    1 can coconut milk, 1½ tsp fresh ginger,, zest of 1 lime, 1½ cups frozen mango, 1½ cup frozen strawberries, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 cup coconut water, 2 Tbsp honey, 2 Tbsp chia seeds, 1 pinch salt
