Seriously Good and Healthy Coleslaw

This coleslaw is creamy, nutritious, colorful, and best of all? Homemade. This coleslaw recipe is a perfect one!

In some areas, one could say that coleslaw holds the whole dinner table together. There’s a strong protein, several sides, but the veggies that are missing from the table are presented in an amazing coleslaw recipe: one that leaves the bowl empty by the end of the meal. And this coleslaw recipe happens to be exactly that one!
Coleslaw is generally made with several different types of cabbage. If you have only one that’s okay, but adding several different kinds plays up the colors of this side dish. Cabbage is very low in calories but happens to be high in fiber, supporting your digestive system.
Filled with carrots, red onion, and fresh dill, this coleslaw is the ultimate side dish to a classic meal. Just pair it up with these cornish hens and these mashed potatoes, and that’s a meal on the table ready to be enjoyed.

My very first job was working in a restaurant where coleslaw was on the menu, but I think the taste of a fresh homemade coleslaw salad doesn’t compare to a restaurant-style. I hope you enjoy this simple and healthy recipe of a homemade coleslaw salad.
