This fresh vanilla bean fruit salad is the answer to all those questions. Er, except the last one.

Seriously, this fruit salad is packed with vitamins in every single bite. It’s naturally sweet, but not overbearingly sweet. It’s colorful, beautiful, and the perfect dish to serve on a hot, summer day.

This Fresh Vanilla Bean Fruit Salad is not only delicious, it’s healthy, too!

What do I need to make this recipe?

Grapefruit. This fruit is a great source of Vitamins A and C. Remember when our grandparents would always tell us to eat grapefruits and we’d turn our noses on it? Well, there was a reason they were chowing down on a grapefruit every morning. It’s a low calorie fruit that boosts immunity and aids in reducing blood sugar levels.

Pineapple. Yup, you’re getting even more Vitamin C and A, plus iron and calcium!

Strawberries and Blueberries. These delicious, bright-colored berries are packed with antioxidants! These potent little berries help protect the heart while lowering blood pressure levels.

Orange juice! What better to use as a dressing base than the juice of a fruit itself? Orange juice provides your body with vitamin C and improves heart health!

Vanilla extract: There are no artificial sweeteners in this fruit salad. I’ve added a dash of vanilla extract for a delicious, vanilla flavor. This helps sweeten and round out all the flavors from the fruits.

I love making this fruit salad in the summer! It’s the perfect pick-me-up.

Peel and chop grapefruit and pineapple.

Wash and chop fresh strawberries.
