I had been thinking about this pineapple salad for quite some time now. Not that I don’t have anything to do, but just because I have been craving pineapple.

This quinoa pineapple cherry salad is so satisfying, you won’t need anything else after. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like standing in the kitchen when it’s summer weather out. This recipe calls for just four ingredients and a few minutes.

This tasty salad is packed with nutrients and so much goodness! If you have not tried quinoa before, let me tell you, its so so good, I love it! It has this unique flavor and usually, I eat it instead of rice. What’s so great about it, is that its a natural source of protein. A total of 8 grams of protein are in just one cup.

For those who follow a gluten-free diet, quinoa is the perfect new ingredient to add to the diet. Then goes the pineapple. This sweet, yet sour fruit is full of manganese as well as other minerals which are essential for building strong bones. Pineapple also contains a large amount of vitamin-C. This nutrient is good for supporting the immune system. On top of all of that, the cherries are a good fruit to eat to promote a healthy sleep cycle. They contain natural melatonin which helps with sleep and body regeneration.
