At the end of the summer, juicy and ripe tomatoes make the best Tomato Salad. Pairs well with any protein, especially grilled!

QuickTomatoSalad 9045 1 1000x1000

I get a lot of tomatoes in my garden every summer, and this is my all-time favorite way to use those tomatoes up! You just can’t buy juicy tomatoes like the ones from your own garden, they just don’t compare to the ones sold at the supermarket. So juicy. After eating the tomatoes, get a slice of fresh bread and sop up all those delicious juices at the bottom.

Summer is in full swing and sometimes, the only thing keeping us sane on these hot days are cool drinks and fresh salads. Juicy tomatoes are the perfect salad to enjoy at the lunch or dinner table, and it’s best to fill up on the freshest produce on the market – or from your own backyard, if you grow your own tomatoes!

How to make the best Summer Tomato Salad

This salad’s main ingredient is the tomatoes, make sure you get some ripe and fresh ones. The farmer’s market is a great place to get tomatoes if you don’t grow any tomatoes yourself. There are some health benefits of eating tomatoes. A single tomato can provide approximately 40% of your daily vitamin C. They also supply vitamin A for your immunity, vision, and skin.

Another main ingredient in this easy summer tomato salad is the olive oil. Pick up a good quality extra-virgin olive oil for this salad, and add salt and pepper to your taste.
