This Korean-style cabbage salad is out of this world delicious! Plus it’s topped with an incredibly tasty dressing.

Cabbage Salad Korean Style with an Easy Dressing

If you’re an avid user of social media and all things Pinterest, you’ve probably come across tons of pictures of cabbage salad. Each one claiming to be better than the other. Each claiming to be authentic kimchi – a traditional Korean side dish made of fermented vegetables and a variety of Korean spices.

While this isn’t exactly traditional Kimchi, it is a Korean-inspired cabbage dish that tastes so good.

The “meat” of the salad is comprised of cabbage, green onions, and garlic.

These three ingredients are then topped with a delicious dressing.

It has Asian flavors that come from soy sauce and sesame seeds.

The perfect amount of heat from the red pepper sauce.

The acidity from the white vinegar.

Just the right amount of sugar to cut the said acidity.

Everything in this dressing serves a purpose. It is a beautiful harmony of ingredients.

Now let me tell you about some of the ways you can use this recipe.

Eat right from the bowl. I mean, that’s the obvious answer, right? It’s flavorful and makes for a great snack.

Top your burgers. HEAR ME OUT. Skip the boring lettuce next time, and add a generous pile of this cabbage salad on your burger patty. It will take your burger above and beyond.

Add in tacos. Homemade tacos can easily be elevated by adding this Korean style cabbage salad. It goes really well with chicken or beef.
