Brighten up your day and enjoy the last days of summer with an Easy, Dairy-free, & Creamy Dragonfruit Smoothie. It’s nutritional and delicious to enjoy for breakfast, snack, or even as a dessert.

Summer smoothies are a great way to cool off in the heat or start your day with. They fill you up and keep you hydrated, too! It’s great to enjoy fresh fruits combined with coconut flavors and that perfect touch of lime!

While it might not quite be a superfood, iron, fiber, and vitamin C are the most known nutrients in dragonfruit. It’s a low-calorie fruit with lots of colors. The fruit comes in four varieties of colors. Three of the fruits come pink-skinned, but with different color flesh- red, purple, and white flesh. The fourth one comes in yellow skin with white flesh.

What you will need to make a dairy-free dragonfruit smoothie:

Dragonfruit is rich in fiber and prebiotics for your gut health.

Pineapple fills you with enzymes that support digestion and boosts your immune system.

Banana is rich in vitamin C and manganese, as well as potassium.

Coconut water & coconut milk help to reduce blood pressure and contain antioxidants.

Along with these ingredients, you will need handful of fresh mint leaves, the juice from fresh lime, and a pinch of salt for flavor.

How to make a Dragonfruit Smoothie

Simply blend all the ingredients together. If the mixture is too thick, add some more milk or water. If it’s too thin, add some fruit. But if you follow the recipe, your smoothie should turn out vibrant, fruity, silky, creamy, and tasty.

You can also make this smoothie ahead of time and store it for up to 24hrs in the fridge, but as always, everything tastes better fresh.

  • 2 cups dragonfruit, frozen
  • 1 cup pineapple, frozen
  • 1 banana, fresh
  • 2 cups coconut water, or orange juice
  • 2 cups coconut milk, or dairy-free, regular milk
  • 1 lime, juiced
