Can You Make Guacamole Ahead?

Homemade guacamole can be made ahead of time. Although its best served fresh, you can make it ahead of and refrigerate in an air tight container for up to 2 days, otherwise it will turn brown. Tighten the guacamole dish as tightly as possible with plastic wrap or lid.

You can make homemade guacamole a day ahead, and stored in an air tightened container until ready to enjoy.

Do yourself a favor and skip the store-bought version next time you’re in the mood for guacamole. This easy guacamole recipe comes together quickly. Plus it’s incredibly delicious!

Holy guacamole, you guys! Do I have the perfect recipe for you! I have been making this recipe for years. Yes, years! I have tried it, experimented with it, and now have perfected it. I would not change an absolute thing with this recipe.

We don’t buy guacamole from the grocery store anymore. In fact, we haven’t gotten store-bought guacamole for several years and trust me, nobody in my house is complaining.

Seriously, stop spending your money on guacamole. You can make it at home, and it’ll taste a thousand times better! I promise you.

How I Use This Guacamole

Eat it with tortilla chips. This is my absolute favorite way to enjoy some mean guac. Get some lightly salted tortilla chips and go to town. It makes a perfect game-night snack! You could never go wrong with it.

Spread it on toast. Want the perfect breakfast food? Take this guacamole and spread a generous layer on top of your favorite toast. Add a fried egg on top for restaurant-quality brekkie at home.

Add onto your burgers. If you’re like me, you don’t like a dry burger. Skip the mayo and ketchup next time (and those other not-so-nutritious sauces) and replace with this homemade guacamole. You’ve got a gourmet burger at home!

Avocados are exceptionally healthy foods. They’re full of great fats and even helps slow down aging! But honestly, I make it mostly for the taste. It is out-of-this-world delicious.

What do I need to make Guacamole?

There is a lot of different ways you can make guacamole. Buying it ready made should not be an option. Stop doing that! It’s really easy to make guacamole. Guacamole is great to snack on, enjoy it as a spread, or with tortilla chips. This is one of my favorite foods just because it can be topped on anything.

In general, avocado is so good. It slows down the aging process and helps burn fat. As for the lemon, this citrus fruit benefits your bone health. It regulates blood pressure and controls acne. Jalapeno is something we don’t use often in recipes, but it is so good for you, why don’t we? One jalapeno pepper provides your whole day’s worth of vitamin C! It is also beneficial for your metabolism and help you fight the aging process. Go make some guacamole and fight the aging process by benefiting your bones!
