Breakfast doesn’t need to be boring! Eating a satisfying, healthy breakfast can improve your concentration throughout the day.

Are you a sweet or savory breakfast person? Some might enjoy French toast and overnight oats, maybe a smoothie more than scrambled eggs and hash browns.

For me, it depends on the day. It’s nice to balance out both the sweet and savory in a breakfast, maybe some fruits with eggs or with an avocado toast. If you’re a purely savory person, this recipe is for you! This fun-to-put-together breakfast has all you need in the morning: eggs, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and that dash of flavorful spice!

I know lots of people that have the same exact thing for breakfast every day. Besides juicing, I understand that familiarity and comfort, but if you’re not like that, you’ll enjoy this fresh and fun recipe.

There’s room for improvisation, too. If you have some other veggies you want to add in, like bell peppers, go for it! The sky is the limit. Pair this dish with a glass of OJ and you’ll be good to go!

If you don’t have the time in the morning for a breakfast salad, make a breakfast salad like this one for lunch or dinner, it can help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Also, this breakfast salad is full of so many benefits! The easy and cheap eggs add the perfect source of protein to this breakfast. Then comes the avocado. Avocado is good to eat when you want to prevent cravings. When you prevent cravings, fat loss increases.

So what do I need to make this Breakfast Salad?

Eggs are the easiest source of protein to have with breakfast, fueling you for the day!

Turkey bacon contains a lot of vitamins, mainly vitamins B1, B2, B6, and B12.

Avocado fills you with heart-healthy fats and potassium.

Tomatoes provide lycopene, folate, and vitamin K.

Onion helps to reduce cholesterol levels and reduces high blood pressure.

Dill provides vitamin C, vitamin A, and manganese to your body.

Along with those ingredients, you’ll need salt and balsamic vinegar!

Steps

Boil the eggs and let them cool completely. Then, slice them.

Saute the turkey bacon without oil. Chop turkey bacon into bite-sized pieces.

Chop the red onion.

Slice cherry tomatoes, avocado, and dill.

Combine tomatoes, avocado, dill, eggs, and turkey bacon. Mix well.

Sprinkle salt and drizzle with balsamic vinegar over the salad and serve.

  • ½ avocado, sliced
  • 3 cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 fresh stem dill, chopped
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 pinch salt
