Alternative names for this protein: Banana Cashew Smoothie, Healthy Protein Smoothie, A Tall Glass Of Deliciousness.

I just treated myself and I feel amazing.

Not only was my treat ridiculously delicious, it was also healthy. It put a pep in my step. It was not followed by any feelings of guilt. It didn’t result in any sugar crashes. It was just pure goodness.

It was a tall glass of banana bread protein smoothie. It was cold. It was sweet. It was so flavorful. It was like having a giant slice of banana bread, in liquid form.

What Goes Inside This Banana Bread Protein Smoothie

Frozen bananas. If you’ve never frozen your bananas, you have no idea what you’ve been missing. Frozen bananas are an absolute game-changer. Especially when it comes to adding them into smoothies. Frozen bananas make smoothies so creamy! And you don’t get the watered-down taste after a few minutes like usual. You get to skip adding the ice!

Non-dairy milk. I like using almond milk, but you can add your favorite non-dairy milk!

Cashew butter. Cashew butter is high in protein and is very satiating. It also pairs very well with bananas and has a delicious flavor.

Maple syrup. For added sweetness.

Cinnamon and nutmeg. Both of these spices really give the smoothie its banana bread flavor.

A scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder. Perfect for those after-workout treats.

I have been drinking these as a post workout protein drink. So easy to make and tastes so much better than just chalky powder mixed in water!
