Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 lb cucumbers, small, cut into long quarters
  • ½ Tbsp salt, plus ½ tsp, or to taste
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ Tbsp white vinegar
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 handful fresh dill, chopped, optional

Instructions

  • Wash cucumbers, and snip off the ends of each one.
  • Slice each cucumber into fours horizontally.
  • Place sliced cucumbers into a large bowl.
  • Add to the sliced cucumbers: ½ Tbsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper, ½ Tbsp oil, ½ Tbsp white vinegar, ½ tsp sugar, 2 minced cloves garlic, and 1 handful chopped dill
  • Add another 1/2 teaspoon of salt or to your taste.
  • Enjoy!
