- 2 lb cucumbers, small, cut into long quarters
- ½ Tbsp salt, plus ½ tsp, or to taste
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ½ Tbsp white vinegar
- ½ tsp sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 handful fresh dill, chopped, optional
Wash cucumbers, and snip off the ends of each one.
Slice each cucumber into fours horizontally.
Place sliced cucumbers into a large bowl.
Add to the sliced cucumbers: ½ Tbsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper, ½ Tbsp oil, ½ Tbsp white vinegar, ½ tsp sugar, 2 minced cloves garlic, and 1 handful chopped dill
Add another 1/2 teaspoon of salt or to your taste.
