Ingredients you need to make a strawberry-cucumber hemp seed smoothie:

I love getting my nutrients from a variety of different sources. That way, it’s not boring. Sprinkles of hemp on salads, yogurt or smoothie bowls is great, but my favorite way to enjoy this seed is in a smoothie. It makes for a perfect breakfast, snack, or dessert for a holiday or just because. You will need fresh summer ingredients to make this smoothie.

Strawberry– If you don’t have any fresh strawberries left, frozen strawberries work just as great.
Hemp seeds– aka hemp hearts, which have a creamy texture that produces a smooth addition to berries or fruits.

Mint– If you have ever grown mint, you know it spreads out everywhere. This is an over-growing green leaf with a refreshing aroma that is great for smoothies and fresh breath.

Lemon– You will just be using the zest of lemon here, so save the juice for this smoothie recipe here.

Cucumber– I recommend using an English cucumber since they have a smooth, creamy taste to them.

Coconut water– You can also use plain water, but the coconut water has skin health benefits and tastes like you are somewhere on a tropical island.

Honey– Raw honey makes a great alternative to sugar. It sweetens a smoothie up without the toxins and calories. You can also substitute it for maple syrup.

also a pinch of sea salt for a flavor boost.

Some ingredients such as cucumber, which you just need to cut into chunks to help the blender out. Just combine all the ingredients into a blender.
