You’ve found just the drink you want to be sipping on this season! This smoothie takes just a few minutes to blend up. It’s a fruity, bright, and detoxifying drink.

Other than hemp seeds and beets, its combined with:

Fruits: bananas and strawberries

Liquid: orange juice, coconut water (or water), and coconut milk (or your favorite milk)

Finally, it’s flavored with salt and ginger, spiced with cinnamon, and sweetened with maple syrup (or honey).

This beet and berry smoothie has it all! It has potassium, vitamin C, iron, folate, and fiber.

Well, all you need to do to make a smoothie is combine all the ingredients into a blender. Then, whip it up until smooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw beets, peeled & chopped
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 cup milk, of choice
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 cup coconut water, or plain water
  • ½ - 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup, or honey, optional

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
